I need some braces help/advice?

im supposed to be getting braces and i need some advice?

will it involve needles or anything like that?I need some braces help/advice?
no it wont... they just basically glue it on there. (not normal glue). it'll hurt for a week or 2 or more cuz your teeth are moving. just take aspirin or advil right after you get them. and you might want to eat before you get them on cuz you are gonna have trouble eating hard foods after you get them since your teeth will be sensitive. and eat lots of chewy things cuz when you get braces youre not allowed to eat stuff like that cuz it will break the brackets.I need some braces help/advice?
The process took 3 hours for me. It doesn't involve needles. It took a long time because it takes a while for them to find the metal things right for your teeth and also the gluing takes a while to dry. It takes a while and you get tired of leaving your mouth open for long but the results make it be worth it. The first 2 weeks you need to be very careful and not eat hard things. After that even when they told me not to eat hard things, i did and i never broke a bracket. Don't worry it'll be fine and you'll be very happy with the results!
I've had everything you could imagine done to my mouth. My Orthodontist was a sadist and a complete asshole to boot. For braces there will be no needles but the needles aren't what you need to worry about. The wire that tracks along the front of the brackets is always either too long or your teeth move closer together which both result in the wire poking into the back of your cheeks. Braces are terrible. Retainer's are terrible. Invis-align is terrible. Have fun with the excruciating pain for the next 3-10 years(depending on how messed up your grill is) of your life. Though they might have perfected the process in the last 6 years. At least your mouth, teeth, and face will look and feel a lot better when you reach the light at the end of the tunnel. Good Luck.
No, putting them on is really a painless process, the only thing to know really is that you should definatly use the wax that they give you and put it on the brackets, especially those near your canines. Your mouth isnt used to having sharp metal in your mouth, so the inside of your mouth may get sore or even rubbed raw in the first week or so, after that, it just comes down to watching what you eat so you dont pop a bracket.
No needles or anything like that. It's mainly brackets, wiring, and an expander if you need one. You will probably only need an expander if you need your jaw aligned better, or have some really bad gaps in your teeth. It usually only takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours to have them put on. It doesn't hurt while they put them on, but your mouth will be sore for a few days. Just make sure you have some Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Soft foods help too. But with braces, you can't have nuts or popcorn! If you're careful, you should be okay. Also, I recommend you get clear braces if your orthodontist has them. I hope it goes well for you!
Hey. :D

When I got my braces, it didn't really hurt.

Or at least the place I went to didn't hurt.

But the first weeks would hurt because yer not use to it.

No it will not involve needles or anything like that.

I remember them using a blue light thing to glue on the brackets, though. :P

Advice: Don't eat candy. I regret that I did. They found out. D:

Plus, in the long run, yer teeth will look better if don't eat candy. C:
they will first use rubber spacers to put in between your teeth to space out your teeth.(this will take a week or so) and then they will use metal spacers that will be cemented on. (they will stay in this stage for another few weeks) when that is done, they will do this next:

no there shouldn't be any needles used. what they will do is use a plastic thing that keeps your mouth open. they will then use a cotton ball to dry your teeth. they will begin to place metal brackets on your teeth with cement (that tastes really bad).

your teeth will hurt for the longest time (3 or 4 months) and then after your teeth are well adjusted, you will hardly experience any pain, even when they tighten them. (except for the occasional sore when your braces rub the inside of your mouth). just use wax when that happens.
I haven't had braces in about ten years, but last I remember needles weren't involved.Braces will hurt from time to time, but eat something cold,it'll numb your gums.

The good part besides getting straight teeth, you can pick the color of your bands so they match the season or holiday.

I'm sorry you have to get braces, but you're not alone!!
You won't get needles or anything. They'll put something in your mouth to stretch your lips away from your teeth, and they'll use a cement gun to put them on your teeth and you may feel some cold spots but other then that it doesn't hurt. It will feel weird once they're on, I though my lips were pudged out they its not.
Hey :D I got braces too!

I got it last week. It doesn't really hurt that much :P

When i got braces, I pull my 4 teeth out..

I don't know if you pull out your teeth and get braces.

Anyways, getting braces is not that hurt! Don't worry!

You should eat some non-solid food such as soup, milk, etc(liquid food) for 1 week. After 1 week, you can eat some solid food too! :)

However, you should not eat coffee or curry, because they change your braces' color. (Candy or gum are dangerous!)

o and the another important one.. brush your teeth often!

First it will takes a bit long time... but you will be use to it XD
i just had mine put on last month, no needles. basically they glue metal onto your teeth, very simple. you will probably be very sore for the first couple of days so plan soft meals and take tylenol for pain use the wax they give you if the metal is cutting your mouth. other than that its a breeze, just make sure you clean em really good
no needles, i have them

i honestly dont think they hurt, i think people are just babies about it,

i have them right now and have had them for a year and they have barely hurt. make sure you brush your teeth alot or your teeth will rot though least thats what the orthodontist told me. goodluck with them ^_^
No braces don't need needles. I suggest you take a pain killer like tylenol or motrin. There may be a bit of discomfot when they are going on but thats it. Your mouth will feel really different once they are on. Make sure you keep them clean!!
with braces, they will glue brackets (little metal squares) onto your teeth and then fit a wire into the grooves of the brackets. the most painful thing might be if you have to wear rubber bands on your teeth. don't worryv :)
Nope no shots! It didnt hurt at all....i was just sore a few days after every tightening but for the most part there was really not to much pain! No worries.
I had braces for like 4 years and it was the best. It hurts a bit but its better then having a crooked Grill. Braces are not that bad....
What kind of advice?

No, getting on braces does not involve needles.
