my dog is gonna have pups any day and i don't no what to do?Help my dog gonna have puppys need advice?
look up the akc.org site it should help you. also check with your vet. also look up a book on whelping puppies from the library.Help my dog gonna have puppys need advice?
nothing she should do it hereslf
when my doggie had puppies, we made her a wooden box where she could rest in and have her puppies there..... we put it under a table and a blanket over the table so she could feel safe... we would check on her every few minutes and help her with the puppies..... the box kept the pups inside and safe from any gettin into danger..... hope u try it... also keep in mind that ur dog might be a little agressive cause she doesnt want anythin happen to her pups.... just let the pups do their thing and the mom do hers and everything will work out fine :D

contact your vet and talk to him/her and ask proffesional advice. Your dog should naturally know what to do, just provide a clean dry place with plenty of towels for her and be there with her to see if she has any difficulties. if anything looks wrong call your vet and ask them to make a house run.
Call a freind over or tell a freind that youll call her/him when your dog has puppys so they can help.
(1) Abortion

(2) Desexing.

Thats it.
just remember its nature the momma should handle it fine I allways sit with ours and have a warm rag and towel ready because once in a blue moon you will get one the mom doesnt get the sac off and you gotta do it especially if its her first she may get tired if she has them to fast and it is usually not a fast process can take 12 hours or more and if shes a big dog watch out that she dont lay on them oh and if a emblical cord gets chewed off to short just put some baking powder on it and it will stop good luck and dont panic momma will handle most of it also im not sure where you live but I know in texas you do not have to have a license to breed
make sure you there if possible when she has them. Have warm water and a clean towel present, so that you can clean them should they need it5 - you will find that the mother will herself try to clean the puppies herself and will actually eat the afterbirth - this is full of vitamins which the puppies have been living on and is good for her.

Make sure you have a nice clean area for her to give birth and the vets number on stand up - have fun!
You SHOULD have had her checked out by a vet when you discovered she was pregnant. They could have told you what to do. You don't know how many puppies she has. Radiographs could have told you that. Call your vet.

Then get your dog Spayed, because you have no business breeding her if you don't know what you are doing.

Backyard breeders---BOO!
Let the Vet check her out if all is ok she will do everything herself .You have to change her food to the best you can afford and have her sterilised when the pups are weened !
Best advice--consult your vet.

You can find a lot of information online though as to what to do with the mom and the pups with sites like this:
Let the dog have her puppies, allow her to nurse them until they are weaned, and then have your dog spayed and don't allow her to get pregnant again.
Dogs are smart and the can handle such a thing
take her to the vet, have her checked out, they will tell you what to do and how to care for the pups, then schedule her for a spay cus if you are asking on her about whelping pups, you have no buisness breeding her again.
You should be consulting a veterinarian. Why did you allow the dog to mate and why is she not spayed? You should not own animals of any type. You sound like a moron.
all dogs are different, she mey mother them and be around them all time or for some reson she may not take to them.i used to work at the vets and you wouldnt believe how many people used to come in because there dog had just had babies but hadnt taken to them.if she doesnt take to them straight away dont panic, just remember dogs are a bit like humans and not all humand get the bond with there babies straight away.if she doesnt show any interest in them at all just ring your vets and they will give you some information or they may give you some milk and explain how to feed them yourself.my friend had that problem, she only had to feed them for a couple of days though as her dog took to her babies.just give her time.have you had children?if you have you will aslo no it is a tiring thing to do and that when we have just the one.how i would hate to be a dog!
You should get a box and lay some newspaper down and a old towel that the momma can lay on......
FYI : you need a permit to breed dogs (that means you can get arrested if you dont know what you are doing)
get hefty lawn bag ready to put them in. maybe wash them or something. if too ugly, you can leave on neighbor's steps.
