i just became president of a new club, and I'm not completely sure how to run it. the club is suppose to help young black males graduate. they're asking for a vision and how do i plan to help it grow? any ideas?I need some Advice, please help?
start by getting some statistics, figures about how many young black men currently graduate. How much would you like that number to rise? How can you target that particular group, to encourage them.
Research to find out why the numbers might be lower than say, white males in the same group?
Ask your members what specific issues they have? What specific help might they need to help you reach the figures you would like to see?
Ask for help from people involved with the young black male community.e
try to create a team, rather than a 'club' with you as the leader, everyone likes to feel part of something, and working together might create a team spirit that will encourage the members to work towards your vision
