Advice for helping with really severe pain?

I have RSD/CRPS in my right leg, and my spinal cord stimulator has had something go wrong with it within the past day, and I have not been able to meet with my rep yet to figure out what is wrong or how to fix it. Any suggestions for helping control my pain? Thanks.Advice for helping with really severe pain?
I have RSD also, so I can certainly sympathize. Do you have any info on the make/model of the unit? If so, do a Google search of it and see if you can find help with it. If not, and you cannot get to a hospital for whatever reason then keep trying your doctor for a prescription for the pain to get you through. For $4, walmart has

presciptions here: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.g鈥?/a>

(call for drugs not listed, some locations offer more) or to a ';natural'; site like: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article鈥?/a>

A great support site for RSD where you can get quick answers to questions with a lot of nice people is : http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RSD鈥?/a>

Go to the ER for pain meds..
medication and if you dont want to take medication then you will have to grunt threw it and deal with it.
What do you mean something is wrong with your spinal cord stimulator? I work for a pain management doctor and answer questions like these at work all day if you are more specific I may be able to help you. Either way you need to get into your doctor ASAP to deal with your pain and the stim issues.
