Well soon i'll be moving out for the first time, and moving up north, where i have some friends. Main reasonf ro moving is for independancy, and to go my own way. None of my brothers have moved out yet, and i'm the black sheep ;)
Anyway, moving into a shared house with 8 other people. Mixed genders, and they all sound very nice and friendly, but the problem is, i'm not too sure what to bring with me. The basic amentities (bath, shower, kitchen etc) are all shared, and so i'm not too sure what i should bring with me. Do i still need to bring basic kitchen things (like utensils, cutlery etc) with me, or not? The room i'll be moving into is fully furnished already..
So what are the things i need to take with me? what do you think?Moving for the first time.. Advice %26amp; Help!?
Anything and everything personal. And items you don't want to share with others. But it might do you some good to call and talk to your roommates to find out for sure if there is anything ';major'; you will need to provide for yourself. Good luck on the move. It's a big step. Congratulations!Moving for the first time.. Advice %26amp; Help!?
Bring something that will hold all your bathroom items so you can keep them in your room until you need them, that way your things are not in with the others causing less space.
You can bring utensils %26amp; cutlery, but be prepared to share them.
It might be best to wait and see what is really needed other then your personal items.
