I want to loose 1 stone by the end of September /beginning of October.
I currently go to the gym in the morning around 4 times a week and do about 40 minutes of cardio. I have also started the Special K diet today for 2 weeks but want to continue some sort of diet after this diet.
How long do you think it could take to loose the stone? and is it possible?

Weight Lifting (you won't bulk up). Don't be intimdated - besides gym people are always happy to help someone else whose is new or show them the correct form. Everyone has to start somewhere. Both free weights and machines are good (free weights a better however because it engages your whole body and you concentrate on your form). You get stronger and tone up. Yes, there is a chance that you won't like what the scale says but you will look so much better! I usually run at the beginning and then do lifting - I feel great when I bust a personal record and noticing the differences. Take pictures weekly too! You'll be able to see your progress
