For my mom's 50th birthday i want to take her to a fancy resturant, but usually they are really expencive.
Can you please give me some good but inexpencive places or a good way to come up with some quick cash.
thank you so much!I really need some advice!! please help me!!?
Have no clue on where you live to give tips on any places. You could always make her a special meal at home and suprise her which I am sure it would mean alot more to her if you did that than take her to a fancy resturant. Good luckI really need some advice!! please help me!!?
I'm Italian so I want to tell you only one thing.... take her in a Italian restourant, they are cheap and you eat ther very very very good!!!!!!!!!!!
Please update your question with where you are. I can suggest that you can take her to lunch instead of dinner. Most restuarants have lower prices but the same portion size on there lunch menu. This is common at the better restuarants. Or try fixing her a nice dinner at home. Or try by getting a large group of people together and take her out that way. Some places will give the birthday person a free meal on there birthday if you have a larger party. Plus you may get a lucky and someone else will just get the bill. This will also help if you have to pay for the birthday person meal that several people will be kicking in to the till and you will have to pay less for your mom's meal..... Good Luck.....
I wouldn't go to a fancy restaurant, I would prefer a more comfortable placed where she likes to go and you can make that day very special if for example you arrange an aniversary album, with special pictures, maybe messages, things you like about her what you have learned in your life thanks to her, why you love her so much etc, I think this would be super special and she would keep this day in her heart forever.and tell her how good she looks because at that age you need someone to tell you that.
good luck!
Let me tell you something you do not have to go to any expensive place or make cash to do some thing like this. Decorate your dinning room prepare one of her favorite dish and invite some of her very good friends over and thi will be more special than you would even imagine it.you can buy some campaign, bake a cake .prepare the dish and have little games. you do not have to do anything fancy.
is it just the two of you?
It would be helpful to know where you live.
You could try Bahama Breeze - it's a caribbean style restaurant that's relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere is great, you'll feel like you're on a vacation. They have great fruity drinks and a pretty decent selection of caribbean foods, along with your traditional steak and chicken dishes.

There aren't many of these in the US, but if you live close to one, check it out. Usually on the weekends they have live music on their patio. It's a nice touch.
If you want to go to a real classy place but don't want to spend as much money, try going for lunch instead of dinner. The portions may be slightly smaller but the prices are usually a LOT smaller. Although at fancy restuarants, your level of service goes up. They expect higher tips, 30 to 40% of your bill is pretty typical for a tip versus 20% at a chain restaurant. Make sure to think about the tip and be prepared for it, your server will work hard for the money and only makes $2.13 an hour. Your tip could make a difference between them being able to pay the rent/tuition or not. Seriously, I worked in several restaurants going through college and tips are more important than you could ever know.
Again, if I knew which city I could make some suggestions.
