THAY MIGHT CAN HELPI have Crohn's Disease. It's really stopping my from developing. Any advice to help grow some boobs?
Some girls get breasts at 9 like I did which was not fun and some girls get boobs at 18 or even 22. Puberty is crazy like that. Not only that but your genetic background: how old were the other women in your family when they started growing out their breasts? Talk to your Crohn's specialist about seeing a pediatrician who specializes in adolescent girls and development. lots of 14 year old girls don't grow their boobs until much later on and then when they go off for college suddenly they grow the biggest boobs which will be great when you go to college. In the meantime, being small or even flat is also a good look because there are some clothes that don't look that good on big breasted women. As long as you are eating enough healthy food, drinking enough water and doing half an hour to 45 minutes of cardio while also seeing your medical specialists then you should be fine. You want to focus on maintaing your upper chest muscle and your ';core'; by doing crunches, push ups and working with maybe 1 pound to 3 pounds free weights. Muscle tone will help your breasts from sagging more than they should and is a habit you should do for the rest of your life. If you're in your mid twenties and you still have an abnormally flat chest then your doctors who should be keeping track of this the whole time should help you see a plastic surgeon. They might recommend constructive surgery which is a total option light years away considering that for now you're 14, under a hundred pounds and honestly, that sounds normal if you have little to no obvious breasts development currently. Even if you are going to be one of those dainty, small breasted women when you grow up, that's not a bad thing because that is a good look that allows you to wear some really cool clothes. Big breasts involve lots of sagging, rude people harassing you and breast cancer screenings always being involved affairs of the mammography always trying to read through all that boob tissue. If everything looks heathy then you should be so lucky and research all the clothes that you are able to get away with that girls with big breasts look fat in, Just don't get an eating disorder or stress out about something when you have everything actually working out for you.
My best friend is 23 and she is 5'2 and now 98 lbs, she didn't get her boobs til she was 19. I wouldn't really worry about it too much, they should come, in time. There really isn't anything you can do to make them grow, or make them not grow, like I kinda wish mine weren't so big. You sound healthy enough to me, so if you are meant to have any, they will come when they are ready.
Um..No, but you can sit down with your parents and talk about an endocrinologist, they can do that sort of thing, they also help with height, weight, and physical features. I also have crohns, but if your serious about what you asked get your parents to make an appointment with an endocrinologist.

What is an endocrinologist?

The endocrine system is a complex group of glands. Glands are organs that make hormones. These are substances that help to control activities in your body. Different types of hormones control reproduction, metabolism (food burning and waste elimination), and growth and development. Hormones also control the way you respond to your surroundings, and they help to provide the proper amount of energy and nutrition your body needs to function. The glands that make up the endocrine system include the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, ovaries, testes, adrenal, pituitary and hypothalamus.
hi just, I am a female crohn's pt. dxed at the age of 12. I've had it for 28 yrs. I can truly understand where you are coming from. Definitely have your mom take you to your primary MD to refer you to a specialist in regards growth and development.

The Crohn's %26amp; Colitis Foundation of America has a website you can go to and look up tons of updated info ranging from diet, surgery, issues w/female concerns, pamphlets to give the teachers in school, as well as locating a local CCFA support group near you. They also have a live chat %26amp; a hotline that is run by healthcare experts and a forum where pts. and their family/friends can post questions to others in the same situation.

Yes, it's hard to deal with this at such a young age and trying to be normal and hang out with friends. With the newer treatments out there such as Entocort, 6MP, Imuran, and Humira, most pts. can obtain a remission provided they follow up w/GI appts, tests, and lead a healthy life style by not smoking or drinking.

Definitely check into CCFA. They also sponsor a Camp Oasis for kids under 18 with IBD.

I wish you a life long remission.
hi there, some advice to you..dint be in such a hurry to grow up .you,l get there soon enough.....tallone
I think Crohn's disease is the one of the latest fad diseases now be treated by doctors and amplified by Drug companies (BIG MONEY) Hear is my post to people with Crohn's disease for you to try.

My son was diagnosis with Crohn's disease over 2 years ago. The doctor wanted to put him on Humira (after experimenting with several other drugs) which is an expensive drug with life threating serious side affects. We did some research and wanted to take a new approach to combat His problem. This is what we found out. The liver is producing too much bile that is toxic to the digestive tract. The types of foods you need to eat are those that DO NOT create excessive acid or bile that help in digestion (simply put). The bile is normal unless it is in large quantity or toxic, the acid attacks the food as well as intestinal linings of your stomach

Your body is high in toxins that you need to remove and stop feeding into the problem by the foods you consume and an overactive liver.

1.) ';Foods to eat'; : water purified, fish, eggs, potatoes, rice, white bread, meat ground up fine or chewed well, skinless chicken cut fine, tortillas, broth, noodles plain with a little butter, plain yogurt with no extra ingredients, Goats milk or rice milk(rice dreams-Wal-Mart) cheerios rice crispys or Chex, plain oatmeal and 'most important' 5x/day at each meal and as a snack, one of the following legume's black beans, kidney, pinto, buttered, refried, with no lard or spices except salt to start. Sunshine calcium and D'3, Iron supplements (in moderation)

if you are anemic.

2.) ';Foods to avoid!';: fruit juice, dairy!, milk (hardest to digest, a cow use 4 stomachs!) chips!, processed foods of any kind, fast food of any kind, soda ,msg, sugar, corn, corn syrup, corn sweeteners, wheat products, sweeteners of any kind, coffee, teas, sauces, read the back labels (you are going to be surprised) for added ingredients any thing thats added, adds to your body's toxic level. NO artificial sweeteners. foods that produce too much acid to break down the foods you eat. No alcohol of any kind NO Tobacco, pork, fatty foods.

3.) 'Foods to eat': in moderation after you stop bleeding and start gaining weight or are having no discomfort: certain fruits, steak, venison, peanut butter or almond butter, more plain oatmeal A multi-vitamin with minerals with 100% RDA (not large dose's of any vitamins and 2x daily, use Shaklee as the bench mark for comparison ) of all of the B's, hard cheese, soy milk, well cooked vegetables'; Psyillium powder';.

4.) The beans, psyillium powder and oatmeal are a soluble fiber that absorb bile and remove the toxins in your body, and then the liver will produce more bile but less toxic (simplified for lack of space).

5.) This is not an all inclusive list and your Doctor will disagree with the elimination of drugs, all removal of drugs should be done slowly if you decide to stop taking them, but they will add to your body's toxic level as you continue take them. Which will make your Crohn鈥檚 worse and make you susceptible to other more serious diseases? I am not a specialist in any field or giving medical advice. I also hired KarenHurd.com at a fraction of the cost to teach my son to diet properly but you can go to her web site and get free information, but I recommend you pay her for a short time to get you healthy and on a routine faster. She has a very high success rate. Stress will make it worst so exercise and relax. Most importantly Faith, Hope, and Prayer, you will get better. God is faithful what ever the results. E-mail me if you have any questions and I can help. I don't know if you have Crohn鈥檚 but changing your diet could help you and most of us in America because of the poor nutrition we unknowingly subject ourselves too. Ibs and colitis is similar but the diet still apply's. Routine and a little bit of self discipline and you will be drug free and have more money in the pocket. You may have other complications with the Crohn's because you are now susceptible to all kind of complications and other disease's because of the medicine you take! My son has gained 15 lbs in 4 months has no blood, no diarrhea, no gut aches, and takes no medication.

you are young yet, development will take place once you get healthy and take care of the crohn's
