My current landlord doesn't want pets. I'm supposed to pick up a Puppy (that is stranded) on friday...and i don't know what to do with her. I can't leave her with anyone at that age since she will be bonding with a family that's not me. where i am moving, i am allowed to have dog but what do I do for the next month?Need help and advice. I'm moving out of my apartment in November but....?
It's better for the puppy to feel love for a month, than to have it sitting in a pound where it's unloved.
Think of it as a good way to help the puppy bond and become house trained. Puppies have lots of love to give, so don't worry about it. Do NOT try to keep the puppy - that's a good way to irritate a landlord and lose out on your security deposit.

This is the issue, how often does your landlord come around the property? how long will you be leaving the puppy alone during the day/night?
What can happen is if the landlord finds out you have a dog, he can send notice to remove the dog, if you fail he can move for eviction, way before your date to move, also if it would go to court and you loose that eviction would come up on a background check, making it difficult to rent again
hard to give advice without knowing the type of place you are living in as well as type of landlord
By the time your landlord figures out you have a puppy and would be able to kick you out, you'll be gone so I wouldn't worry too much.
You know by the time the landlord finds out you have a dog you will be gone by then anyway so pi-- on it . go get the dog and have fun with it .
Your landlord can charge you or keep your deposit or security deposit if he finds out. You will have to decide is it worth the money loss and a month of sneaking and stress. How will you take her out to go to the bathroom. Will she cry while your out? Can you pay to board her? The puppy will get over the person that you let keep it but the other person will get attached. You could get your parents or a close friend to keep the puppy and stay at their house a lot. You are the one that will have a hard time parting with the puppy once you get her.

Can anyone help me. I need some good advice. I am getting very nervous about this situation. I have had gas
for the last 5 days and it gives me a crampy kind of feeling, but passing gas constantly, and even like burping. This is not normal for me. I don't know what kind of foods I should be eating. Should I be eating ones that have fiber in them or not? I also think that I could be dehydrated. My lower back hurts me, and I am really getting frustrated.Can anyone help me. I recently applied for a private college names Robert Weslyn in upstate ny, I have some aif but is is not enough to cover the year, I want to what or where can apply for more aid at, I am interesed in getiing a student loan but I do not know what I can do or where to apply at, I need about 6500 to cover room and board and books ect...,, I would like to have some extra money to live on also can anyone help me I am totally lost,Student loan advice please help me?

HI, I was hoping to get some advice on this fan and whether it would suit my apartment. The one's I want are all stainless steel, no black.

I have one big open room with a pool table (black felt) and the other side of the room is a leather couch and chair with a plasma tv. The room is wide open and everything flows together.
Now that I'm doing th finishing touches i'm stuck. My couch and chair are deep wine leather and I'm painting the room the walls two different colours.
My ideas were off white and a darker off white (with a touch of mouve) and curtains to match the couch and chair (deep wine).
Any all-around help would be great, And what do you really thing of the fans?? There would be two in the room about 12 feet apart from blade to blade.

I love the fan. I would use a warmer color on the walls, though, to compliment your art. The off-white would be a bit stark and the mauve would clash. I would suggest two shades of a cappuccino color (one light and one medium) for the walls. Unless you want accentuate the color of your sofa - and I'm assuming since you say you're ';stuck'; with it that you don't - I would stay neutral with the drapes...maybe a brown or even black. Use colors from your art for throw pillows to tie everything together and tone down the sofa color.
Here's an example of a window treatment that might work for you. Notice the hardware and the color choice: espresso.

i ovulated on September 25th, and 12 dpo today today. At 8dpo i had dark brown spotting when wiping, some times it will be there some times it wont. it was very light, now today at 12dpo i got pink spotting when wiping. now its 5 days of spotting. my next period is due September 11 or September 9...any one of these days. all last week my boobs hurt. my bb's never hurt. my test have been negative...not sure what going on..when should i test...should i call my doctor..i'm trying to avoid my doctor cause i'm calling her all the time with questions and feel silly asking to take blood test and i'm never pregnant..please help is this normal?Need advice, please help, is this normal?

Also sometimes I will wash my hair the night before and let it just get a little dirty and the curls will stay in way longer.
Another thing you could do it put jell in your hair and then blow dry it normally and then curl and use hairspray. The gel will help the curls hold better. I buy this stuff from sun-silk its cream and gel and mixed together its green and it doesn't make your hair crunchy its pretty much amazing.
Alsooo another thing that works really good is this. When you get out of the shower put a volumizing type product in your hair and gel. Then put your hair in a decent sized roller, the bigger the bigger the curls you will get. Then either let air dry or blow dry and then take the rollers out. Your hair wont be in perfect curls but go back over with a hot curing iron and some hairspary and your curls will look amazing and stay for a whileeee.

I mean the kind you put in when your hair is damp and leave in until your hair is dry. They last a long time, but make sure you don't use much hair spray when you do because it actually makes it go flat quicker when you have hair like that.
well i think you should roll your hair it waorks the best if u want to keep ur curls longer so what you do is wash your hair then you roll your hair with hard rollers then you sit under the dryer and then wait till it is dry then you take rollers out then there you go curls!!! im a hair stylist i know what im talking about

I am still here by the grace of God. I will say a prayer for you tonight.

not sure of USA but here in Canada the welfare system will help you out... your car cant be worth more than $30,000 and you have to have very little income coming in from the entire household to qualify...
dont let the depression get ahold of you... just keep calling around until you get an appointment... if your wife works and makes more than welfare gives you, then you cant get it...
dont tell them about any money that is not traceable.. its none of their business... if they ask say no... for all you know it might not be there next week... you shouldnt have to sell your stuff... thats why north america can claim to be a civil society... this isnt africa

You very well could be pregnant, but the only way you will know for sure is to get a home pregnancy test. If you want to be 100% sure go to your doctor or a local clinic and get a blood test. TRY to stop stressing. Stress hormones (on top of inducing your period twice in a very short period of time) will cause your period to do funny things. Wait two weeks, take a pregnancy test, once that says negative (which i'm pretty certain it will being as though there's an extremely low chance of getting pregnant the day after your period) get your self on a birth control, and find a partner who doesn't object to condoms. I would be a lot more concerned with STDS, as your chances for those are just as great if not greater.
In the future do not have unprotected sex, meaning CONDOM, no matter what other birth control you use.
As for anything else, if you are pregnant, there is not much you can do. Abortion, give the baby up for adoption, or raise the baby yourself.

instead of going for a cheeseburger go for some chicken..i found that i love gyro's they are awesome!!!...also eat a healthy snack..vegetables and fruits every 2-3 hours to keep the metabolism going at its best and if you eat healthy snacks every once and a while you will find that you wont need to gorge on the junk foods...also it is ok to eat your favorite snacks one day a week as a reward for being good the rest of the week just don't over do it!

just go to the gym. if you can't afford that do execersises at home buy some exersise dvd's do that 30 min a day. you can still eat junk food but eat less don't eat them everyday. you can eat whatever just smaller portions. after a big meal go walking at leat an hour. trust me it works. don't eat all diet foods thats boering! still eat regular food and still lose the weight. just eat smaller portions. eat light throughout the day so you won't be that hungary for dinner after dinner walk. try crunches after every workout try 50 a day stay active. if you don't like to excerise just do a lot of waking. walking is easy!

And if you can manage to quit eating junk food for long enough, you won't even like it anymore. When you get cravings for it, just distract yourself with something that will take your mind off of food.
definitely do not starve urself! give urself 1 day a week to relax and have the foods that u want, but stick to ur plan for all the other days. wen u have an outlet u dont feel deprived. if that doesnt work than try not eating any junk food for 3 weeks, ur body can only crave and miss wat it still has, so by the end of three weeks the chemicals and cravings should be out of ur body and u wont ant them anymore. good luck!

instead of going for a cheeseburger go for some chicken..i found that i love gyro's they are awesome!!!...also eat a healthy snack..vegetables and fruits every 2-3 hours to keep the metabolism going at its best and if you eat healthy snacks every once and a while you will find that you wont need to gorge on the junk foods...also it is ok to eat your favorite snacks one day a week as a reward for being good the rest of the week just don't over do it!
I also did 30-45 minutes of the hardest cardio i could handle, every time i was done exercising i was covered in sweat and my legs were wobbly...Losing weight help? Advice?
just go to the gym. if you can't afford that do execersises at home buy some exersise dvd's do that 30 min a day. you can still eat junk food but eat less don't eat them everyday. you can eat whatever just smaller portions. after a big meal go walking at leat an hour. trust me it works. don't eat all diet foods thats boering! still eat regular food and still lose the weight. just eat smaller portions. eat light throughout the day so you won't be that hungary for dinner after dinner walk. try crunches after every workout try 50 a day stay active. if you don't like to excerise just do a lot of waking. walking is easy!
Losing weight isn't just about dieting, it's also about exercising. Run, swim, ride your bike, do something that makes you work up a sweat.
And if you can manage to quit eating junk food for long enough, you won't even like it anymore. When you get cravings for it, just distract yourself with something that will take your mind off of food.
definitely do not starve urself! give urself 1 day a week to relax and have the foods that u want, but stick to ur plan for all the other days. wen u have an outlet u dont feel deprived. if that doesnt work than try not eating any junk food for 3 weeks, ur body can only crave and miss wat it still has, so by the end of three weeks the chemicals and cravings should be out of ur body and u wont ant them anymore. good luck!

ive had t dragon for 3 weeks it ate crickets and meal worms then went of crickets then didnt eat for 2 days then ate 3 wax worms but now wont eat nothing for 4 days and he is quiet in his viv and lively when heldI need help advice my water dragon hasnt eatern for 4 days?
it is not unusual for dragons to go 4 days without eating in the wild but captive should raise a little concern. I will make the assumption that your dragon is a little guy only having it for 3 weeks. So being gravid (with eggs) not a factor. what are you using for substrate? substrate (stuff you put at the bottom of the cage for comfort) can bind a dragon up make him not be able to go poo. if you have the correct setup and I will put websites below in sources for you to compare. Pay special attention to heat, humidity, food, substrate, basking area, uva and uvb source (very important for digestion). calcium/vitamins additives, and a readily available water source. dragons need water for digestion also they like to play in water about 1/2 of the body thickness deep when they are young i.e. if your dragon is 1 inch thick provide 1/2 inch water dish change this water daily they like to poo in the water. if you have met all these requirements. it could be something as simple as he gourged himself as young beardies like to do sometimes and he just isn't hungry. if you have not met the requirements. try to do so as quickly as possible and as a precautionary get your little guy into the vet if nothing more than just a wellness checkup and good vet advice if you have a picture phone or a digital camera take some pics of your setup and print them out take it to the vet and show him he can ask vital questions and make great suggestion. good luckI need help advice my water dragon hasnt eatern for 4 days?

Reptiles need heat in order to digest their food...if they don't get the heat they need, the food will rot in their tummies...make sure the temp is at the very least 85, but preferably 90.....if not, they won't eat...
i know lots of things on pets.maybe i can help.your water dragon may be sick,or it has no freedom.try talking to your water dragon and take it to the vet.a vet should be able to help.this is what i can help you.

First trimesters screening . . . I need advice. . . Please help?
My husband and I lost a baby at 26 weeks (last Aug) to a rare non-genetic birth defect. The birth defect affects 1 in every 21,000. I am 35 and my husband is 42. We had an appt yesterday and everything went great until she asked about first trimester testing. We have three other heathy children and never had these tests. We are both worried all the time anyway and would like some reassurance. We would like to have the tests done so we can have some peace of mind. However, the paper our doctor gave us said that the test will detect a problem 85% of the time. It also says that 5% of the time it will give a false positive result. If my math is correct that means that 20% of the time the test will give you an inaccurate result. Maybe I am crazy, but in my opinion 20% is a very high number. How could this test make you feel anything other then confused?? The last thing I need right now is something else to worry about, but I never want to have an medical induction at 26 + weeks again. They often push for these test in woman over 35 which I am sure you are aware of. My friend actually went through this. She did not know she pregnant for 3 months, she was on the shot so that is why she was confused, and she did some heavy drinking. They ran these test and she ended up in a certain percentile, sorry can't remember exact figures. Well what happened next is that she went to a specialists who did further testing and everything ended up being fine. Basically, your math is right, the first round of test only give you a ';suggestion'; that something may be wrong. If you score in a certain percentile they will send you to someone who will give you a more definitive answer.
My advice would be if you are that worried have the test done, but keep in mind you may worry over NOTHING. Just make sure you have someone explain every figure to you. They didn't do this with my friend and she cried everyday until the specialist explained everything.

That is something you have to look into your heart to find the answer to. If there was something wrong would it make a difference?? Would you want to terminate the pregnancy if there is something wrong?? Only you and your husband can answer these questions for you not some strangers on the internet.
With my first pregancy I had the testing done, my boyfriend then informained me that if something was wrong I would terminate the preganacy. Thankful nothing was wrong with my child. With the second preganancy I took all wondering out of the picture and didn't get the tests done. I knew either way I didn't care I would have my baby no matter what.

I can tell you on my parenting message board at ivillage.com there were about 25 women that got the tests done that had them come back positive. None of those women had anything wrong with their babies after further testing were done.
First of all, I'm very sorry about your loss, that must have been terribly painful, especially so late in the pregnancy.
The screening tests you're talking about (probably AFP and nuchal translucency) aren't definitive tests, which is somewhat frustrating, but knowing what they are and what they can and can't do is helpful going in to it. I had both done recently and even though we were planning on NOT doing an amnio, had there been alarming results from the nuchal (which appears to be better than the AFP from what I've learned) we might have decided for the amnio just to have as much info as possible.
One thing you have to think about is what you'd do with the results if they were concerning. If the AFP and/or nuchal greatly elevated your chances of having abnormalities, would you do an amnio, which is more definitive but more risky? Then if the amnio was positive for something abnormal, would you terminate? [these are questions you have to ask yourself... not meaning to ask you to answer them here! :)]
Or would having the results, bad or not, at least give you something to prepare for during the last few months of pregnancy, which is how we were looking at it.
We had great nuchal results and decided that was that and didn't do the amnio due to its risks. But as I mentioned, if we'd had alarming results from the nuchal, we probably would've opted for the amnio to at least have time to prepare, especially being that we're expecting twins.
Good luck with your decision and being that your other baby was lost due to non-genetic abnormalities, chances are in your favor that your new baby will be healthy!
One of the screenings they will do is called a nuchal transparency test. They check the skin on the back of the baby's neck and are able to tell about birth defects and such. They will also probaly take blood to rule out down's. This is really common for women over 30-35 who are pregnant. Don't sweat this! Everything will be ok. :)
I would have the test done. I had my screening and it put my mind to ease. I say better safe than sorry. I understand that it migh not be 100% accurate, but I would much rather have an idea of what I might be facing, than to worry for the rest of my pregnancy.

She ended up giving birth to a healthy baby girl. Also, you need to think about how this test is going to effect your pregnancy. If it comes up positive are you still going to love and care for your child? Will it bring you even more fear? I would do more research before making a decision to test.
Well i got one and im 14 weeks pregnant i got it like 2 weeks ago, and it came back positive for having high chance of downsyndorm. but i did not find out how seriouse it was tell like a few days ago. i about had a heart attack and probably stressed my babe out, but it was only 1% higher then normal so im not so worried about it now.
The pre screen will give u results for birth defects and u r right, sometimes they are not accurate.
What I did was ask myself if it would make a difference in if i chose to keep the child or abort in the event of a defect.
My immediate decision was that it would not make a difference. Either way, its what God gave me and I would not choose to abort in any case.
So, ask yourself this question and determine if you want the tests done.
Also, if u choose to test and then they want an amnio centesis to confirm, there is a 1 in 500 that u will miscarry.
There are risks all the way around.
I elected to do nothing. I am 32 weeks now and will handle whatever God gives me. I am thrilled either way....:)

Currently Im working as an accountant making $45k with medical benefits.....im 28 but i feel i want a career thats more challenging, exciting and rewarding......so i have decided to apply to medical school to become a Male Nurse. It's not about the money as I was offered an accounting Job with Moody's Financial with an annual salary of $60k + benefits. My cousin works as a male nurse in the ICU section of the hospital in Kentucky and he thinks it's challenging. He enjoys it and feels happy about what he's doing. He knows he is helping the patient and the patients family. So I think it would be a great career. He gets paid really well and has great benefits too. And we do need more nurses. Good Luck!
We definitely need more nurses, and that's a profession where you would definitely be helping people. Nurses are generally underpaid and overworked nowadays. The helping people part is the emotional compensation. On the downside, you will have to see a lot of suffering and dying. If you can be detached enough to not let that get to you, I hope you'll becdome a nurse.

We definitely need more nurses, and that's a profession where you would definitely be helping people. Nurses are generally underpaid and overworked nowadays. The helping people part is the emotional compensation. On the downside, you will have to see a lot of suffering and dying. If you can be detached enough to not let that get to you, I hope you'll becdome a nurse.

Last Christmas i got an ipod video/classic. iIn about November my mom took it away. I got it back early December and there was a problem with it. i go to the apple store and i get a new one free (warranty). It was working fine until recently it is freezing up and an error occurs when i try to restore. It must be something on my mac right? all my videos are downloaded on the internet or dvdrips. What can i do, go back to apple store?I need help/advice for my ipod... ?

Iam going to get conncetion tomorrow to hook my daughter Wii to internet, do i need memory card to save the games i download...or what else can i do with it connected to internet..??
